USING THE AUTO-TRIEVE

Using the Auto-Trieve will feel awkward at first but will quickly become quick and easy.  Snap the lure retriever to your line. While pulling the nylon string from the Auto-Trieve to lower it to your snagged lure, place the string in the hand holding your rod.  This will keep the string from being pulled back into the Auto-Trieve as you use the other hand to pull enough string to reach your lure.  Once the lure retriever hits the snagged lure, release the string from the hand holding the rod.  Pick the lure retriever up a few inches then let it drop, repeat until the lure is free.  Drop the nylon string and wind your lure and lure retriever back to the boat while the Auto-Trieve neatly winds the string for you.  Watch the "Learn How" video HERE .
